(Girls Riding Together)
GRiT stands for Girls Riding Together and is a NICA program to encourage #moregirlsonbikes in a fun, non-competitive, and inclusive manner.
Arkansas GRiT girls love to have fun on & off bikes! As a part of NICA, we are on NICA teams and some of us may get a bit competitive at times, but at GRiT events, we just have fun!
We love to laugh, eat ice cream, try new things, work on bike skills with just girls and ride our bikes to fun places. Official GRiT events happen once a month, but you will find GRiT girls at NICA races, practices, hangouts, or even just around town. GRiT is more than riding bikes, it is also a mentorship program with ambassadors, mentors, coaches, and volunteers.
The LRSMTB GRiT Coach Coordinators are Angela Paulson (Capital City Cranks) and Lori Hunt (Mount St. Mary Academy). We have several GRiT student athletes & coaches and will be growing in the 2025 Season.
