LITTLE ROCK STUDENT MTB

The Little Rock Student Mountain Bike (LRSMTB) Teams consist of four competing teams within the Arkansas NICA League: the Capital City Cranks (CCC) team, the Catholic High School (CHS) team, the Mount St. Mary Academy (MSM) team, and the LR Central High School (LRC) team.

The CCC is a composite/open team made up of co-ed student athletes in grades 5th through 12th. Anyone in the Little Rock area can join the Capital City Cranks. The CHS, LRC, and MSM teams are made up primarily of 9th through 12th grade students who attend those schools.

Many of our LRCHS, MSM, and LRC athletes actually start as Capital City Cranks in grades 5th–8th and then transition to their high school team once they reach 9th grade.

2026 is our 10th year in the Arkansas NICA League. During that time these four teams have essentially functioned as one larger program. We practice together throughout the season, share the same social media pages, coordinate race weekend activities, and raise funds jointly as Little Rock Student MTB.

As of May 2026 we have 68 riders registered in PitZone and 16 active NICA-certified coaches, plus many dedicated family members and friends who help make the program run.

At the end of the day, we are ONE big happy family!
